NAT TYPE Help needed

4 replies 189 views Edited Nov 7, 2013

I am in desperate need of some help with my NAT TYPE problem. The problem is, I have 3 PS3's in the same house working off of a wireless network. The router is a linksys. We haven't had any troubles until we started playing COD Ghosts. One of us might have an OPEN NAT, the other a STRICT NAT and the other a MODERATE NAT. I'm not sure why this is happening. I don't understand how to open all of the ports for 3 different PS3's. Can anyone help me?

Welcome to the PlayStation Community.

Have you tried giving them static IP's, having more than one PS3 means you usually need this?

Sounds like an IP confliction, try giving them static IP's.

I'm not sure if they have static IP's or not. How do I know if they do or don't? And does that mean the IP is the same for all 3?

I checked to see if my ps3's have static IP's and they do. So that isn't the problem. I believe the problem is that the ports aren't open for each ps3, but I can't figure out how to open them for multiple ps3's.
