Update: The end time for this maintenance is now 4PM Pacific.
We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that there is a planned network maintenance for PlayStation platforms scheduled for Monday, December 9th from 9:00 AM to
2:00 PM 4:00 PM Pacific Time (12 noon to 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Eastern). To clarify, this is currently scheduled to be a 5 hour 7 hour maintenance.
This maintenance will increase the number of devices that can be activated by an account as a portable gaming device. This means that you can now activate up to three portable gaming devices (PSP (PlayStation Portable) and PlayStation Vita) on your SEN account. This new portable gaming device allotment is in addition to the other network improvements being implemented during this downtime.
If you’ve signed onto the network over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the network during this maintenance window.
Thanks for your patience during this maintenance timeframe, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I have been trying to access the Playstation store since 30-11-2013 and have been getting the Maintenece warning every day since????
I answered you in your original thread. Four minutes isn't an unreasonable amount of time to wait.
This is a start in the right direction, however I don'y understand the need to have mutiple devices associated with one account. Why would I want 2 or even 3 Vitas on one account? Sony needs to allow more than one user to login on the PS Vita so my kids will stop fighting over them....
I assume that is why, but the doesn't seem to fit needs for families. I am already looking forward to the PS Vita TV, but only buying one may also become a problem. Why would Sony want to limit the use of a PS Vita TV? Although I don't know much about it, I am sure more than one will be desired in my house hold which alreadt has 2 Vita's and 2 non activated PSP's.
