Just installed a new HDD in my PS3, formatted everything, ect. Redownloading all my games, but littlebigplanet is having some issues. For some reason, the game decides that it's the PSP version when installing, asking me to copy it over to an attached PSP even though the tag for it says PS3 & I've downloaded the PS3 version from the store. I've attempted to redownload it multiple times to no evail. Google searches for this issue are saying that it's an issue that's arisen with the newest store update, however I haven't noticed any such threads about it on here.

This is an issue for me as well and its been over 2 months since your post! I called Sony about it a few weeks ago and they said they were aware of it, and that this issue was being caused by people who got the game free as part of the welcome back free thing they did for te major outage/hack they had a few years ago. All they told me was to watch the forums..

Yeah same here. I got it with the Welcome Back offer when the PSN came back. I deleted it a whie ago when I was doing a backup with my external HD since I can just re-download it later. I tried downloading it a week ago from the PSN store under PS3 full games, downloaded it and says something about using my PSP? I dont get it.....what happened to the full PS3 game

Use the Search function of these forums. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the answer is out there.

Via the XMB Menu, go to account management then download management then downlod the game from there.

Same thing with EU. Acc Management Download List method works.
