I can't log on to my playstation network, and I just wonder if anyone knows how to fix it! When I'm trying to connect the internet, I just get the message "the key information exchange timed out", and it can't find the IP address. I have tried to enter all wireless information manually and nothing seems to work. Please let me know if you know anything about this! And the internet is totally fine on my computer!
No I don't think so, because the network worked just for a few minutes one day, but then it has'nt been able to connect afterwards That's why I can't understand it, because I have checked that the password is correct several times. :/
Have you tried refreshing your modem and router?
1. Unplug both the modem and router or the combo
2. Plug the modem in first and wait for all of the lights to come on. Usually 3 blinking.
3. Then Plug the router in and wait for all of it's lights to stabilize.
4. Go back to your PS3 and try to connect using Easy connect.
Yeah, I have tried that too. I have tried to restart both the router and the ps3. I'm not good at this stuff at all, and I feel so stupid! I feel that I have tried everything I know of... Can't understand anything of this **bleep**, and I want to play online! It's so annoying -.- No matter what I have tried to do, it will not obtain the IP address.
I have been having the same issues as well. It keeps saying that the key info timed out and I have done everything I can think of to fix it. Im almost to the point where I'm going to throw the stupid ps3 away because it does this to me all the time. One day it works and the next day it is all wonky. can anyone tell me how to fix it before I go insane?
