you want all the ports you opened enabled
(there should just be one spot in the router's settings that says upnp
or upnp enabled) you want upnp unchecked/disabled (through the router)

i think i have done everything , im still gettig nat 3
 
i am using a dl 624
 
i used 192.168.0.23 as the ip on the ps3
put the ports in my router and im using 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 as my first and second dns subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 default route is 192.168.0.1 dchp server is the same. pls help!

ok i disabled upnp and it still says nat 3 also my ports i opened are on the virtual server and advanced tabbed everything double checked

I am using  a Blitzz Netwave Base G4 wirless router. I can connect to the Playstation Store but my NAT Type is 3. I am at a total loss as to how to get NAT Type 2. Can anybody help?

I have to a point.

I don't understand the part about assiging ports. The guide mentions that those settings are for a linksys router.

have you set a static IP address then?

put that static IP address in the DMZ on your router's settings.
