Just bought a $50 PSN card at Play & Trade so I could get a couple season passes. But it doesn't work. It won't give me any explanation, just the error message "The funds could not be added to your wallet." I even downloaded an update and restarted the PS3 before trying any of this.
"This PSN Card has a value of $50.00.
Do you want to add these funds to your wallet?"
Then I hit "Yes" and the "Yes" flashes a few times before the error message comes up.
The only solutions I've seen so far are "call support" (and apparently that hardly ever works) and "wait anywhere from a few hours to a few days."
It's clearly recognizing the card, and I've tried restarting the PS3 twice now. What gives?
Pretty sure. The guy called over the manager to do something on the computer, and the manager knows his **bleep** enough that the company flew him out to E3 this year.
It says the PSN card has a value of $50.00 whenever I put in the code, so it LOOKS like it recognizes it.
I used PayPal.... my paypal and credit card were CHARGED for $25, then I got a "transaction was unsuccessful" message on the wallet website. I still have 0 funds, but am short $25 on my credit card and paypal. What is this?
Sony's customer support number automatically hung up on me. Did I just get robbed?
Has anyone got this fixed by sony or a proper answer?
I was having this problem (AGAIN - and have been for over a year) even though it was supposedly fixed. When I went in to my billing information, some of it had disappeared - the system wasn't recognizing the expiration year nor the security code. I had to completely re-enter the credit card info for it to work. :-/
