Help, Unable to sign in using another users sign in ID(email address)

3 replies 81 views Edited Jun 5, 2011

Okay today I got the message in my email box about the PSNetwork being repaired, and that I would be able to access my account.... so I go and try to log on to PSN using my PSP. I have had an account since I got my PSP, a couple of years ago.

I try to log on, get the message about the password having to be renewed so I do that, I renewed my password, seemed to have worked fine....now I can sign into the 'network' through the PC, but when I try to do it with my PSP, I get the

'Unable to sign in using anothers sign in ID(email address).'

I have tried everything, I cannot get into my account. HELP.

Any ideas, anyone know how to get in touch with SONY support direct ?

Thanks for any help offered.

I did NOT create another account.

All I did was reset the password, but there is two Emails associated with account(I think), but as I am unable to access account managment throught the PSP, I cant really determine much of anything.

But I am sure I did not create a seperate account.

The message 'Cannot login using another user's account' is caused when you change the login Email Address.

Once you login with a PSN Account, that particular account is asssociated with the PS3 user, and you are UNABLE To change that email to login.
