Re: Have not received my ten dollar credit for march spend 50$ promotion

However, this comment made by Pierre Gravereau made the promotion a little misleading, as well.

This is from <http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/02/26/psn-march-savings-get-10-for-every-50-spent/#comment-82141...> - "PSN March Savings: Get $10 for Every $50 Spent":

” If you were thinking of subscribing to PlayStation Plus, now’s a great time to do it. Grab the 1-year membership for $49.99 to get the most of your PSN experience, plus a little extra cash back.”
That’s a little misleading. I remember a similar promotion was happening a year or two ago. I was short a dollar, (or a few cents) of the required amount, so I didn’t receive any credit back. I even called PlayStation support to find out why and the guy tallied the total amount I had and said because I was just short of it, I didn’t qualify.
So if it’s $50 you have to spend, $49.99 probably isn’t going to cut it. You still have to spend that extra .01.
If you can still get the $10 with the 1 year PS+ membership, then please correct me. If not, then please, correct that statement made.
Now it would be stupid to just buy stuff to get the money back, so hopefully the things people purchase will be things they were going to get regardless if there was a promotion or not.

But again, the technicality of the promotion all comes down to that amount LEAVING the wallet, which did not happen for me and, I'm guessing, for many more.

Here is what I think they were saying.

I know MOrgan had said in comments numerous times during the promotion that purchasing and redeeming a code for PS PLus would not count. However if you purchased a $50 PS funds card and then purchased PS Plus 1 year with it, it does count. The gray area for me was the PS Plus costs $49.99 and that they would cover that penny. It seemed to me that we got you covered was specifically for the PS Plus purchase only, but I'm not sure of that. My personal feeling was that if you got to $.50 close they gave it to you. But in your case since you purchased a PS PLus "membership" from retail and not the PS Store it does not count. They mentioned that redemtions of codes did not count, to include adding funds to the wallet or PS+ subs. You need to purchase items from PSN to qualify.

For Pierre, he should have said "Puchase" and not grab.

Sorry.

Still nothing yet, bought 1 year @49.99 cdn in march.

To top it off my ps3 now has a flashing red light and it'll be 150 for Sony to swap it out with a refurb.

Hi. I still have not received my rebate from the 'spend 50$' promo last March 2013. I am expecting 10$. I will very much appreciate it if you could look into and fix my situation. My online ID is Clerk_III. I am getting worried that the voucher/code that I am entitled to get will expire.
