Before I go around and around trying to change settings..this is my problem...

Moved to a new house and have not used PS3 for about 5 months..Hooked it up watched movies and stuff...Went to play Gran Turismo and it comes up could not make a connection error..I can`t remember exactly the verbiage I can get that tomorrow but and one have any ideas? I CAN connect to PSN and get the stupid browser to work..

I have donr the network test and ebverything is fine exept the speed test down work...

Sorry nobody else has responded but if you haven't logged in in 5 months I'd suggest reading the link below. Master GT gives the best advice for installing multiple updates at one time.

Can I ask what your connection speeds are?  Is your ISP cable or other?

UPDATE:

The error does not give a number but here are a couple of pictures.

I don`t know what the second picture tells you but I can insert a picture of the settings with IP and stuff but I was not sure I should post my IP !

I'm not an expert but when one shows up it would help to know when the error message shows up. And if you can play the game off line or not. You might need to delete the game and reload though. Not the game save file but the game itself.

I  deleted the game also all my data )-: and loaded it back in and still get the error )-:

Wonder if I should restet the system !
