Hi. I have played Ghostbusters:The Video Game and played a few times online with no problems except one of the times that I played online it froze and I had to shut the system off manually. The last time I played online in the middle of the game it kicked me out and said connection error. Now everytime I try to go into online multiplayer it gives me the "Connection Error" message and I can't even get into the Online Multiplayer mode. I'm also using an ethernet cable hooked up to the modem so I shouldn't be having any problems. I checked network settings as well and it says everything is working fine. All of my other games work fine online so I don't know what the issue might be. Has or is this happening to anybody else? And what can I do to fix it? This is one of my favorite games to play online and this is driving me nuts, lol. Please help if ya can. Thanks.

yeah its busted, I was playing the other night when it died and i haven't been able to get in since. I called sony but they said they don't deal with games unless its their own. I'm not sure what tech support to call. I have a region 4 so all the contact numbers are in EU but I'm in u.S if you can check your region 1 version and give them a ring let us know whats going on thanks

lets see if they can give me a response, I think maybe not till monday

Yeah. My friend tried going into online multiplayer and he got the same "Connection Error" message. I really hope they didn't shut down the servers for this game. It's cool that you emailed them, i might do the same. Now is it Terminal Reality that handles the servers or Atari? Let us GB fans know if they get back to ya, thanks.

I have a region 4 version of the game, is your one region 1 ?

I just want to make sure thats not my problem

Atari has turned off the servers for Ghostbusters.  Contact PSN to put pressure on Atari to turn them on as this game is still being played by a dedicated following.  Contact Atari as well.  I have contacted both and received no response.  I have also contacted all my PS friends to spread the word.

Look for a Facebook page in the near future:  "Save Ghostbusters PS3".  I plan to create it to disseminate information.

I got a ticket number for my Ghostbusters  "connection error" complaint from Atari.  They submitted the problem to their "Development Team" in order to see if there any bugs in the system.

I'm not sure I believe this.

atari is not being honest, xbox is still up.the servers were all supposed to be shutdown ,they posted this to keep playstation legal  from sueing them.

i just bought the game and its telling me it gives me the vonnection error message and i was wondering if anyone was able to play and if they are you should tell me cause i bought it to play with others seems how i lag on call of duty black ops 2 but if anyone is able to access and would let me know it would be greatly appreiciated
