Still not acknowledging the problem?

A friend of mine suggested that  if i do go out and buy a new ps3, i should first buy one, bring it home, jam a butter knife into the cd slot and crank it around in there, then immediatley take it back as defective for a replacement.

Just imagine if everyone affected by this retarded firmware update did this.....

Original 60GB PS3, original hard drive, never tinkered with.

Upgraded by wifi from 4.21.

During installation got the YLOD and now indicating component failure.

Just did my 4.25 update now my PS3 won't read disc's either... Tried restarting and booting the system but no luck

I have a fat 80 gig PS3, I updated to the 4.25 from the 4.20 I use the default HDD, I upgraded over wifi,  and now I can not load or see ANY types of discs. I have rebooted my system and restored file systems and still a no go. Need some help.

I have the big orignal 60GB PS3 and since i updated to 4.25 i cannot connect to the PSN. The internet works, as i can connect to the web browers and surf the web, but i cannot connect to the PSN. Keeps telling me that the connection has timed out. Oh and i'm on a wired connection. Tried wireless and had the same issues. Pretty sure i updated frm 4.21.

My Dualshock 3 sixaxis direction always go down and right, I can go on the left, up, down or right but controller always go down and right imediatly after. Even after reseting the controller. It append on XMB and also during games which is totaly unplayable. My TV remote controller work very well on XMB.
