Lucky this time I hesitated to update as this happened to me when I installed the optional update 4.21 2 months ago when I put in a new 1tb scorpio wd. There is no chance in hell I'm going to use this update. I don't care about network features I have the Xbox for that. So my PS3 is stuck in networkless limbo...

I have the 160 GB Slim. upgraded from 4.21 every since them Madden online play has been ver sluggish, and system will not shutdown properly. I have had sever disconnects while playing online also. Please release a fix for this.

I have 160 slim I have been having the dsn problem and was having download errors now I cant even sign in and my wifi signal is 100% I have been going crazy trying everything please fix soon

You sure it's just your Madden? I say check other online games you have.

If you're like myself, your 160GB Slim's internet capabilities just killed itself.

So from the responses in this thread it seems like 160GB Slim models with Default HDD's get internet connectivity destroyed?

My ps3 freezes as it boots up. I have to unplug it to turn it off.

It still works in Safe Mode.

When I tried rebuilding the database, it freezed between the reboot with a blank screen. It stayed that way even when I restarted it. I left it unplugged for 12 hours, and then turned it on. It started to rebuild the database base with no problems. It froze during the reboot.

I am now trying to restore the files from Safe Mode.

PS3 250 gb/gp, packaged in 2009, I guess its phat, no customization.

I actually called into the Playstation Tech Support line and and after letting him know of my troubles he said that if the reset didn't fix then it was probably an issue with the PSN since they recently did an update.
