Error Code 8002AF04

6 replies 1517 views Edited May 29, 2013

For some reason, I cannot log into PSN, I keep recieving error code 8002AF04, which is a DNS error. I've tried to reset my modem/router, I even tried to unplug it, then re-plug it. No luck. I've even tried to unplug and re-plug my console, it worked for a brief minute, but then the error started to show up again. It all started when I started to recieve really bad lag in-game (Call of Duty:Black ops 2), then tried to restart it. Then, the error started to show up. Please help

This error code is not all that common, nor does it have a definitive solution (that I can find.)

I would recommend contacting support --> here.

You can call or live-chat with them right on the site.

Good luck. I hope you get it sorted out.

Maybe this has something to do with it?

Are you trying to get on home and you get that error,Are you running wired or wireless,I was having alot of errors when i was running wireless but now since i ran a wire it has made a difference,Try that if that doesnt work,Delete home and re-install it,Then when you get in home delete your cache,Hope you get some relief,It can be aggravating,Let me know if it works.Try holding the red button down until it beeps twice to restart your ps3.

Not really because this starting occuring before the maintenance, so the maintenance had nothing to do with it, thanks for trying to help though
