ERROR CODE: 80010038: Intsall Eroor

I've been trying to download Uprising for Black Ops 2 but when it starts the install process, it gives me an error message (80010038).  Playstation support fixed it once, but now it keeps happening.  It also gives me a corrupted data file.  If anybody had this problem before please help me out.

-Thanks

You did all that? Including all the Safe Mode options? If so then you probably need a new hard drive.

Do think that formatting would maybe help if I saved all my data to a USB?

Actually I think it's most likely your connection if this is the only game you're having trouble with. How are you connected and how did Support fix this before for you?

Well at first I was trying to update Black Ops II to the latest version(1.11) and they said to delete the game data and restore the file system. Which worked and updated fine. But now I have to re-download the DLC content and now that is causing the problem again. I already restored the file system again. But after all that I decide to just play the game without the DLC and it says I have to download the update AGAIN. It's just really frustrating.

Ok last night I talked to a Live Chat assistant again. I just restored the PS3. Now during the Initial Setup it freezes and then I cant turn off the system unless I hold down the power button. Then when I turn it back on it tells me it's corrupted and needs to fix it. After the system restarts after that. It tells me the same exact thing. Please help, nothing bad happened to the PlayStation ever. It now all of a sudden starts messing up.

If you keep getting that message and Safe Mode doesn't help then I'm back to thinking it's time for a new HDD.
