Did anyone else just get $110 added to their PSN Wallet?

14 replies 628 views Edited Nov 26, 2013

So unfortunately, I had the "Automatically add funds for susbscrptions/DLC" option enabled on my PSN account.

Now here's the thing, I don't have any subscriptions or any pre-ordered DLC/games. So I have no idea why my account has suddenly decided to deduct $110 from my credit card.

I already checked and only my 2 PS3's are listed as authorized systems. I of course already changed my password.

Is it even possible to transfer games/funds between PSN accounts? It's the only reason I could think a hacker would want to add funds to my wallet, but since there are no other PS3's registered, it seems it came directly from Sony.

Anyone else get this? 11/25 @ 21:15 central.

I would change my password right away then contact Sony about the issue if I was you.

Could be done via PC as well. There has also been a wave of forced password resets for suspicious activity.

Don't suppose there was another psn breach we don't know about.

That sounds like "irregular activity". Take your card off, and contact Sony/Playstation support.

Maybe people with smart phones getting apps through unauthorized channels haven't been paying attention to the privs. And now are getting logged from the psn app.

Did you get a email from Sony? Regardless who added the funds, once it's added Sony send's you a email right way. The email will tell you when (date & time) the funds were added. The email would be a key in your case when speaking with a Sony Rep.

if it happened recently, you can call sony and im sure they wont have a problem refunding you from the auto renew. This happened to me a few times on xbox and it is common and never had a problem getting a refund!
