Debit Card Invalid?

6 replies 4732 views Edited Apr 11, 2012

Hey everyone! I have a problem (who doesn't) with my debit card for PSN.

I used my debit card for pretty much everything but it won't work on PSN anymore. It worked before, but I had to delete my payment information so I could use another card. Anyway it won't accept it anymore.

Note: I put in EVERY SINGLE DETAIL in it's exact way on the statements, tried upper case, lower case, everything. Does not work.

I originally tried to do it on the PS3 but it said my information was invalid.

So I tried to do it on the Sony Entertainment Network site instead, and it says that I "Need to enter a valid credit card number." I tried another card and it worked fine, but this one does not. I even used it at the store later on and it worked just fine.

Please don't say I need to enter my info in correctly, because I did, exactly how it's stated on my statement, so that is a no go.

If anyone can help me out, please do so <3

Thanks.

One person had to enter their city again into line 2 of their Address field before it would accept.

It has to be exactly how it appears on your statement, which for me meant line 1 apartment number, line two street address, a period after my middle initial, and no period at the end of "St". this address also has to match the address that sony has on file, so change your address on the sony website to match the bill of the card that you will be using.
