Not always if i had preordered it i would have had to wait to pick it up when gamestop opened at 10 am this morning since they didnt do a midnight release but i would have still had the game by now this whole digital download thing sucks why cant sony already have the content preloaded like steam does.

Well heres even more BS, I just called sony and they said its up to a 15 day process to even know if they will approve a refund, and suggested I just wait for the update to finish around 7pm est. So even if I did go out and buy a copy I still may not get my money back. Useless, horrible system.

I expected to have it preloaded when I got home today at 4PM EST, instead I had to wait until 630 EST to just download 7GB, then wait for the lengthy install. If I preorder something I expect it pre-everyone else. I could have been playing it immediately if I would have just bought it at the store at lunch, or kept my Day 1 preorder from Amazon. Now I'm questioning my NFS preorder bc I'm sure a lot more people will be purchasing that and the size will be significantly larger... Come on Sony, is it that hard to preload a game on a system?

I think Japan is a day ahead though IDL is in the Pacific. So, why can't it be in Japan.

ATTN Sony:  Why would anyone EVER order Day 1 digital if we have to wait until late at night to get the game?  Other digital services allow pre-downloads so that you can play at midnight, but I can understand if you cannot do that.  However at midnight I should be able to start the DL and play in the morning.  This coupled with NO DISCOUNT on digital (Except for my paid PS+ discount) why would anyone use this program?  I made a huge mistake doing it and I will never do it again.

I am a die hard Sony supporter, but this program is poorly implemented and we need some feedback on this.

I am NEVER using day 1 pre-orders. 228pm  local time and i still cannot download Need for Speed. I'll buy it at retail from now on....or USED just so sony gets no money for it, What a bloody Joke...day 1 my **bleep**
