Here's how to solve this.

I'm suggesting you router ip address is something like 192.168.0.1

and that 192.168.0.70 is not being used by any other program, this is just made up by the way

Setup your ip address manually when setting up your wireless connection on your ps 3

your

ip: 192.168.0.70

subnet 255.255.255.0

default gateway 192.168.0.1

prefered dns: 192.168.0.1

secondary: leave blank

mtu manual or auto

no proxy

enable udnp

this worked for me.

Ok, I don't know what kind of router I have, I just know it's the standard one that you get with Verizon FiOs. I tried all the suggestions on here, I logged on to my router and put in all the details that I found on there. Still nothing. I then tried plugging my PS3 directly into the router, and I still got the error. I entered manual and automatic settings, and I get the same thing everytime. I don't know how this is happening, I have 100% signal strength and all the computers in my house work with the same router so I know it's not the router's problem.

When the PS3 takes your IP then turn off the  the firewall to the PS3.--allow all access

then use the Auto portion to set up wireless.

this  worked for me
