So I bought my PS4 downloaded the first update at my home and everything worked properly. I went to a hotel where I'm going to be staying at for the next couple weeks and it has one of those wifi setups where you have to go in and put your room number in and stuff. And tried to connect to PSN but it won't work. I used to do this all the time on my PS3 and had no problems but it just wont seem to work on my PS4. I can browse the web and everything it just wont connect.
I'm JUST getting this problem...or this problem has reappered again for me at least. It won't detect my usual connection and and I couldn't even be typing/posting this if my WIFI didn't work lolz. I shut my PS4 off and will try again later.
Do a connection test. If you get an IP, and no internet connection, add your PS3's IP to the connected devices list on your network service provider's domain. If you get internet and an IP, but can't connect to PSN, your netwokr firewall may be blocking Port 1935. I can help anyone do this if you want. (I will need remote acess to your laptop/computer if I have permission.
