every time I try to download Mass effect 3 I get error that my hard drive is full. The game is about 14gb and I have 19gb free on my hard drive. So why I can't download the game?
Mass Effect 3 takes a total of 25-30 Gb of drive space. the 14GB download is simply the compressed installation file.
I would recommend you try unstalling afew of your other ps3 games and cleaning out old saved files of or any games your not playing at the moment and stuff to try to make room for it....Other than that you could upgrad to a bigger harddrive if your ps3 has a smaller drive.
You Need double the space to install.
The PSN PS3 PKG Files downloaded won't be deleted untill AFTER the install.. the PS3 uses PKG, which is NOT a compressed system so install size is exactly the same size as download...
5GB downloaded + 5GB installed data = >10GB needed
10GB downloaded + 10GB installed data = >20GB needed
15GB downloaded + 15GB installed data = >30GB needed
20GB downloaded + 20GB installed data = >40GB needed
Delete more content for more free space...or get a bigger HDD... Downloaded files will be deleted after the install...
