This is my situation.
I have my PS3 at my school (Wake Forest University) and I'm having trouble connecting it to our school-wide internet.
This is my second year, I'm in a different building, but last year, I connected easily and painlessly.
Access to our internet requires a username and password. The PS3 finds the student internet but won't allow me to click on it to connect on the internet connection settings screen.
I've also tried a wired connection through an ethernet chord but the PS3 didn't recognize it and told me to insert one.
Thanks a million.
Welcome to the PlayStation Community.
I would suggest firstly having a word with whoever runs your school internet to see if they can help you, I would also ask around to see if there are other PS3 users who have the same problem or who have since solved it.
