I just called Sony's Helpline and they already have an automated message telling us the PSN is down and "will be up shortly." No further explanation given. Again, I hope this doesn't turn into another one of those fiascos where hackers wrecked the system for several weeks.
Can't login as well. It is profile specific! I have 2 playstations in the house and can log in with any other user on them... just not mine! Same 8002A548 error. I had my friend tell me that my profile was missing from his friend's list initially then when it finaly showed up it just showed my name with nothing else... just the "thinking" dial churning...
I'm in Toronto, Canada and I am getting an error code 8002A548 when I try to login.
I'm not angry that the network is down. I'm angry that it took me 15 mins of searching to realize that it wasn't just me getting this error. I've been a support of Playstation since the original Playstation, and as a fan I do not appreciate being left in the dark.
Own up to the fact that it's not working and let the fans know. You're wasting my time and patients and this isn't the first time.
I'm not asking a lot, just for a little honesty so I don't have to search through pages of forums to figure out that, it is in fact not working for everyone, and maybe a hint as to when it might work again, like an hour, a day, a week, I don't care I just want to be able to plan around it when I have free time to play.
