Buying from PSN while overseas.

2 replies 142 views Edited Jun 28, 2013

I bought my PS3 in the US and used it online while there. I am now stationed in South Korea and am trying to buy a game from the PSN with my credit card and I continue to be told that there is an error or that funds can not be added to my wallet.  I have checked my credit card information to make sure that it is correct.  Is this an issue with me being overseas? Can I not purchase a downloadable game unless I am back in the states?

I am currently having the same issue. I am in Japan and bought my PS3 on the base. I am trying to log into the PSNetwork but it keeps telling me my credit card information is wrong even though it is correct.

The address for your credit card must match the address you provided when signing up for PSN. Also APOs and military addresses aren't accepted. Your best bet is to use PSN cards. If they aren't available where you are here's a handy link.
