Look, a number of questions, amigo.
Firstly, are you Irish?
Secondly, are you using a disposable credit card? (3V for example)
Also, are you trying to lead a revoloution against the outrage that is "unable to add funds to wallet".
Because if so, I will follow you to the depts of hell and back with the hoards of hades themselves standing between us and FF IX for just 9.99. THE NOSTALGIA I AM MISSING IS UNBEARABLE!!!!?!
I'm having the exact same problem, as of last night. I've never had any issuesd with purchases on PSN, but now I'm getting this every time, and I've tried every suggestion. I've even tried it with another credit card. This is ridiculous. Seriously, what the hell is going on?
Three weeks later, still no luck and no satisfaction from Sony, after explaining I have tried their recommended fixes and none of them worked! Giving this a good solid "to hell with this" and rock Steam for a while, will keep checking back here tho! Good luck everyone!
The Pre-Paid PSN cards work fine if you add to wallet directly through PSN on the console, didn't want to work through "https://account.qriocity.com" though. It's a good work around for now, but it'll get old fast. I don't think we should have to go to the store, buy a card, come home, add to wallet. It defeats the whole purpose and convenience of PSN and auto-funding.
Hey. i had this problem since new years...so i was reading some comments about the error (80023102)....so i deleted my credit card information, to see if the problem will go away..and Today i tried to add some funds (to see if it worked) and it WORKED! w00t!
Yeah, I´m from Norway and have the same problem with 80023102 error code. Bough FFXIII-2 Today and tried to use the redeem codes. No luck because of this! I´ve had the same problem since 02.02. Damn PSN sucks! And Sony has made no comment about this what so ever! F**** you Sony! I´m a PS(r)Plus user and paid for better costumer service then you show! PS3 + Sony has a BAD REPUTATION and it´s getting WORSE! Buuuuuuu!
Yep it's down for me again now too. What. The. Hell.
Now I know for sure it isn't my information b/c I made a purchase earlier, and there's no way it's my connection - I have good signal strength on the ps3 and better on the pc where I try to add funds through qriocity and it tells me my card info is invalid. This is obviously something on Sony's end and it is incredibly frustrating getting no satisfaction through any avenue of customer support. This must be doubly so for users like solid_eirik who pay to use expanded features on PSN but are not allowed to perform a basic action like buy a product or redeem a code.
I hope enough people bring this to Sony's attention to warrant them looking into it, as it doesn't seem to be happening to all users. I urge anyone reading this thread to contact customer support by email and/or phone if you're having trouble with this error code. The more unhappy customers that go to Sony with this issue, the more likely Sony will be to actually attempt to do something about it.
