Just Wanted To Get A Cheap Decent Headset

and on that note i suggest the turtle beach px21 - it is an awesome headset where you can adjust the game and chat seperatly. so if your in a game where chat is more important then the game noise you can up chat and turn down the game. plus being a full headset the people your talking to dont have to hear themselves and no echo.

I hate playing with people without full headsets - always get what did you say, i cant hear you and so forth

I agree with jpbslayer's recommendation.  I have the Turtle Beach PX21, and it works great.  If you shop around you can get it for around $70, maybe less. Well worth the price. If you absolutely must go as cheap as possible, the lowest cost option is the Logitech Vantage headset (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/headsets/devices/3228), which is only $30. It is basically just a wired USB headset, but it has only one ear-cup, so you can hear the game audio coming out of the speakers with the other ear. The setup works, but you definitely do get what you pay for when it comes to headsets.

Just wait for the new PS3 headset coming out all bluetooth but way better than the one we have now 100 dollars but worth the price you will see

I would say wait for the official PS3 7.1 surround sound headset. If you really want/need one now, I would recommend the PX21, I got mine from amazon on sale for $60 instead of $80. Just be very careful with these because they break easily if you pull on the earpiece to adjust them. I had to send mine to turtlebeack to get new ones after mine broke by doing that. They are held together with a really cheap piece of plastic. When adjusting them pull on the headband not the earpiece.

Get the Turtle Beach P11's they are 50 mm speakers and more newer than the PX21's.

Im sure you will find a cheap one. i wouldnt go for cheap tho. i myself have the ps3 one. and i love it. no probs.
