They do need to add this function. I enjoy my ID it is also my GT my problem with it is that alot of people have a hard time pronouncing it. ( It's  the name of my DnD character who I have played for 18 years.) Microsoft  charges 800 MSP to change your GT which comes to about ten bucks. and well seeing how JAPAN can change there name. ( least from what I have heard and found looking at forums on the web) there is no reason american users shouldn't have the same right. Hell I'd be happy with you can ghange it as long as you  are a playstation plus member.

I have wanted to be able to do this for a long long long time, when I bought my PS3 I made my account, (before they merged PSN with all Playstation services.) So I had to make a new handle which is Rafedx which sucks, I want my origional name which was Rafe before they merged.

Maybe I could ask them to switch it I don't know, but I would gladly pay 20 bucks to get my old Forum Handle.  Both Rafe and Rafedx are registered to me but they force me to use Rafedx......bah.

yes,i also want to change my psn "gamertag"but i do think the first time should be free and all the other times should be 2-5$,sony would have happier players and get more money of course
