With so many awesome games coming out this year, it's going to be hard to choose, but I've thought of my top 3 most anticipated games, and here they are:

1. Batman: Arkham City.

I am a HUGE Batman fan, I've been watching The Animated Series and the movies since I was a kid, and Batman: Arkham Asylum just took me back to my childhood, mainly because it featured the voice talents of Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy. It was a great game, IMO, every part of it was perfect, except maybe the boss fights, they could have been better, but the gameplay, graphics, atmosphere, and storytelling were all great. 2. Battlefield 3

Ah yes, the long awaited BF3, people have waited about 6 years for this game, the true sequel to Battlefield 2. I haven't played BF2, but I played the two Bad Company games and love them to death. I am going to spend ALOT of time on this game, and this is the multiplayer game of 2011 for me, so it's at # 2. 3. Dark Souls

This game is basically Demon's Souls 2, it uses the same engine, but the story has nothing to do with DS. Demon's Souls was great because it was quite difficult and punishing, but it was never frustrating for me. The graphics were great, the combat was great, and the online feature of the game was really creative and added so much replay value to the game, and the atmosphere was really...... great. The game's story was weak...... actually, it didn't even have a story ; you have come to this land that is filled with demons that prey on the souls of man, and you will save it..... or will you? That's about it..... But despite that, it was a really great RPG until the last minute, and that game lacked support from the creators, but Dark Souls will receive a lot more support, and that's why I'm placing it at #3. P.S: Many people will disagree with the fact that I didn't put Uncharted 3 on this list, but I didn't really like Uncharted 2 the same way I loved B:AA, so I didn't put it on my list. It's just my opinion.

Most intrigueing (ie not another shooter game) for 2011

LA Nior

A virtual movie style murder mystery. After playing heavy rain I am looking forward to this one. I just hope it isn't a slap together trying to get some Heavy Rain money

Child of Eden

Artsy and secretive I like the involvment and concept but with out more leaks that is all I can say. Like I said Intrigueing

Rock of ages

Not as out there in game play (think Marble Madness) but visually I love this thing. The eras of art being crushed under a giant rock of time. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I do agree with you that Batman: Arkham City is a Top 3 selection in 2011.

Infamous 2

Big fan of the first game, being that i am fan of comics. I also enjoy playing a super hero in a sandbox environment.

Plus the story has a great comic book vibe to it.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

*1A- The Last Guardian- ICO/Sotc are my two favorite games of all time. TLG is an easy choice. (if it makes it out this year).

*1B- Uncharted 3

2- Dark Souls- I have no words for how hyped I am for this title.

3- Journey- ThatGameCompany needs to be renamed, ThatHitCompany. I love everything they do... Journey looks amazing from an art perspective, and is filled with all sorts of atmosphere.

Arkham Asylum 2! The first one was really good and I'm wondering what They're going to add in the second one.

Uncharted 3! A brilliant game! The graphics in that game are just amazing. I didn't know that it was in game and not just a CG cut scene half the time!

If they really are making a BF3 then that would be number 3!

I forgot about inFAMOUS 2. I really liked inFAMOUS, but the free-roam sucked and it had no replayability after the 2nd play through.

Mine are:

Resistance 3

Probably my favourite FPS franchise of all time, and with the cliffhanger ending of Resistance 2 I can't wait to see what Insomniac do next.

Uncharted 3:

It's a game made by Naughty Dog, I don't think I really need to explain any more.

Journey:

It's the latest game by thatgamecompany and the concept is amazing!

They really are making a Battlefield 3...they just release a trailer for it.

Man, it's so difficult to chose.

#1 is probably Resistance 3 or Killzone 3.  I'm really into the whole sci fi shooter thing

#2 is definitely Dead Space 2.  EA really outdid themselves with that one.

#3 is definitely L.A. Noire, as Rockstar has been on a roll and I really love the look of the game
