I'm playing thru the God of War Collection on the PS3 right now and I'm completely surprised at how well the remastering actually is. GoW looks great all these years later!

I'm more inclined to believe that past classics should be left to history rather than retinkering and possibly ruining the magic. Though after what Sony did with GoW, I wouldn't mind seeing more remastered collections/games.

A few PS2 hits to consider:

- Shadow of the Colossus & ICO

- Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3

- Ratchet and Clank series

- Jak & Daxter

Yeah, I kind of want to see the Ratchet & Clank series be remastered on the PS3. Just because I like the series and would love the chance to play it for trophies. I'd also like to see the Jak series, Sly series, and maybe even Killzone 1 get the same treatment as the GOW collection did.

I would love to see remastered and full on collections of Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid.  Granted it would cost a butt load of money, but you can get a full enjoyment out of those two games.  And by collection I mean possible PSP games as well, as someone who doesn't own a PSP and just recently got into the Final Fantasy series the cut scenes of Crisis Core really helped my understanding. I hated seeing Snake really old in MGS4 with that high of quality, it depressed me.

Can't wait for the Ico & Shadow of Collosus pack. I never got to play Ico because it was to rare. Looking forward to that. GTA's would be cool but I have had a hard enough time playing GTA4 and Red Dead to worry myself with 3 more of those games. I think i would enjoy the MGS pack as I never got into that game before so maybe I could play through all of them.
