And here I was thinking there were no more great games headed for the PS2 after God of War. That'll be SOME GAME ! Maybe even TERIFFIC!!

Area 51 will be a big hit on the PS3, while Midway finally make a brain game for the PSP.

Re: PlayStation Gaming News: 01/26/07

Rogue Galaxy arrives, God of War 2 is coming soon, and then we get annoucements of throw away games like that one.  Heh, I remember all those cheap kiddy games PSone was flooded with when PS2 started to pick up steam.  Besides those and EA games, the platform became pretty irrelevant to most serious gamers after a few last minute key titles arrived, such as Chrono Cross.  History repeats itself.  Oh well, budget gamers who buy it now have alot of back catalogue to select from, and most of it dirt cheap right now too.  It's a shame about Capcom, pay to play awards are pretty cheesy.  If the AIAS truly wants to recognize outstanding and innovative games, it can't just ignore a chunk of them from someone who isn't a paying member.  They can either walk the walk, or talk the talk.  Right now it seems to be just talk, so I cannot help but view this year's awards as completely without merit, just like last year.

Are Sony mad? Raising the price of the PlayStation 3 in Canada? What a joke.

  •  Sony really raised the price again? Rediculous
  • At least NT is nuanced in thier opinion about the PS3. You have developers like the guys who make Genji saying it rocks but then putting out crap that would be embarrasing on PS2, and other guys who say it sucks but haven't even released a game.
