PS3 won't find wireless network even though p.c. will and it sees neighbors

3 replies 309 views Edited Feb 2, 2011

I have had my playstation online for months with no real problems set up was a breeze and i haven't touched any settings since.

We had a storm and the cable whent out for a few hours and when it came back up the PS3 wont find my wireless network.

It's an older belkin router 4ish years old but my lap-top reconected as soon as it was all back up and says the signal is strong.

When i scan it shows 5 networks from neighboring units but not mine when i try manual it gets me no where i'm at a loss and could use some sugestions.

I've checked that the router is broadcasting ssid

I've checked all the router settings

My PSP finds the network as well(even from out side my appartment)

I had similar problem. Reception was intermittant. Discovered it was my the signal to my wireless headphones that was preventing  the PS3 from recieving the signal.
