who would buy a Texas Hold em table ???

20 replies 22 views Edited Mar 26, 2007
There better be a Texas Holdem poker table that i can get for my Apartment so i can play or gamble with my friends, how cool would it be to have a poker night on PS Home?  Or maybe it can be where if you buy World Series of Poker game that you can get a table unlocked.

Isn't online gambling illigal in the states? Play for no money. I would like to have one if they put one in Home!

I definitely would put a Texas Hold 'Em poker table in my home and I like the idea of a poker night on Home, but I have to agree with the poster above that they wouldn't be gambling for any money as it has way too many legality issues and it would be bound to cause trouble, but if you are a Texas Hold 'Em poker fan, its just worth it having it in Home even if you are just playing for fun.

It wouldn't be for real money rather virtual money or points that willl  be then added to your virtual wallet or bank so you can use to buy virtual things. I hope they make such a system.

You would think that would work but the problem with that is, the "virtual" money that is in the wallet is actual money that you sent to the wallet and to have a Gambling where it uses the "virtual" money is exactly gambling online, and people would send thousands of dollars just to gamble and that is how the trouble starts with people losing massive amounts of money and gambling addictions, that is just asking for trouble. Besides that I doubt Sony wants Home to be an online gambling device, the main idea is for better console gaming so Online Gambling is definitely out.
