Not sure how that works, I think the beta testers are selected based on your criteria- I just wish they would kick the beta off here, get some information out, maybe the ps3 will pick up sales?

Home becomes available Fall 2007, the said month is October. For the Beta aspect, it starts sometime this month (April) and another is going to be conducted in August. For more details check the links below
