what if just IF

36 replies 840 views Edited Jun 12, 2013

if home is destined for its ultimate demise at the end of ps3 support and no suitable replacement is on ps4.

Maybe sony could publish home sdk on the net as freeware including the publishing utility.

Im sure theres home users out there or maybe 3rd parties more than adequately skilled equipped and skilled enough to run home on a pc network

What if letting everyone freak out on purpose when they could have put an end to the discussions about it ended up being an even worse decision in the long run.

Home takes a lot of bashing from critics both in the industry and on the web.

I can see why Sony doesn't spotlight it - just because they don't mention it - doesn't mean its gone, I think it will be around for a few more years until it is replaced by something else.  Sony knows there are people who enjoy hanging out in Home when they are not gaming, and its something we come to expect to have.

The big push for Sony this year is PS4 and a slew of exclusive games...

They know Microsoft screwed up and want to lure as many people from Xbox as possible - and believe me, there are more angry Xbox users then happy ones about the upcoming Xbone.

You don't lure gamers to Playstation by promoting Home.

Why would promoting PSHome on PS4 push gamers away from PS4. Playing PSHome is by choice, not by force. You don't have click on PSHome. Gamers can stick to their games and we can stick to PSHome. There are some people that are bored with the current games like myself and want to try something different like PSHome.

If home ends in 2015 when PS3 ends or Before!   Then that's it...

We'll have tom deal with it's loss then... And a SAD day it will be.... The End is Nigh!

SHAME on SONY for making us HOMEless by Closing our PS HOME!

Sadly there are a number of users here who would love to see it end and the sooner the better just so they can say they told you so.

I personally will enjoy the service until they turn out the lights and pull the plug on the servers. And yeah when that day arrives I'll have tears in my eyes because they will have put to rest a service that was special and that allowed gamers and friends to interact with one another in such a special way

I will certainly cherish the days I've spent on PlayStation Home.
