I agree that once Home shuts down, SONY will be useless. I only stayed with SONY this long because of Square and now that Square has destroyed themselves Home is the only thing left.
Plenty of my PS Home Friends stopped using PS Home, removed me from their friend's list, or I have eventually removed from my friend's list due to PS Home drama. So the idea of me having 0 friends once I get a PS4 doesn't bother me as much as it use to.
In concept I already have plausible plans for a PS Home substitute. And so far they are
But I won't really be making the switch untill I get a 4K TV, Steam Machine forces me to get a 1080P TV, or PSN is removed from PS3.
I'd mount the PS3's in the trunk of my car, buffer the power with a few UPS's and run the cameras up front with extenders.
Set the antennas up into passive mode and go wardriving.
I'm only kinda kidding
Home wasn't a big part of my PS3 experience, It would of been if Sony followed through with what they promised. I'll just keep play my games. I only have like two people on my friend list that I meet through Home so I can just communicate with them through messages or if we play the same games I'll be able to talk to them there.
