Personally feel these types of threads should just be locked or deleted as soon as they're posted.
These are like tabloid threads - entertaining but not to be taken serious...
Undoubtedly.
That said, the poor saps who originally post them usually end up having to endure ridicule and "noob bashing".
It's all fun and games until someone loses a ball... or discovers one

Im sick & tired of the MALES pretending to be FEMALES or vice versa. It‘s just isn't kool.I have been in many situations that a girl was actually a dude.SONY need to make it that what ever you choose your avatar to be , You CAN‘T go back and CHANGE it later on . What do you think ?I think you need to grow up and stop hitting on pixels. Home is not a dating service.

Personally, I can usually spot the guys dressed as girls from a mile away. Clothing is often a giveaway, but so are speech patterns and behavior.

Just curious: do you think you can spot girls driving male avatars, too?
Absolutely not. Girls are much better at being guys than guys are at being girls. It has a lot to do with conversation patterns and flow. The majority of males do not have the same sense of timing that women have in conversation. Women are, simply, better conversationalists than men, and engage more in what's being said.Women also tend to have tasteful male avatars, and there are guys out there with actual fashion sense. If every woman walked around dressed as Fabio, that would be a giveaway, but women don't do that. A lot of guys who pilot females can be spotted by the blonde hair, outrageous body dimensions and mismatched skimpy clothing that their avatars wear.

All right, now you ladies are just trying to get me into trouble.
And I can tell you're ladies because of the way you write.

Are you trying to date in Home? This is a "game", you know. I have had over 100 friends in Home over time and I honestly don't know whether 90% of them are male or female. Friends are friends and I don't care? If it matters to you, just ask first and take it from there.

This is nothing new to the internet and nothing can be done to stop it. People will go to extreme lengths to get their jollies.

1. It should not matter either way. As long as you aren't getting on to date ( as you said you don't ) This should not matter.
2. I say if a boy wants to be a girl avatar or vice versa, Shoot go ahead. This is a virtual world which is why we can make our avatars as what we want ourselves to look like.
That's all I need to say about this ... by the way, Welcome to the forums!

if you have a problem with these then stop using home I use a female avatar from time to time just for the fun of it.
