Yeah but can u use ur USB head set... cause my friends have a USB and i have a Bluetooth

You should be able to use both, PS3 supports both of them now.

Good question,I imagination you would walk up to someone and push a button to talk to that person,if someone else want to jon that conversation they would walk
up and push something to join.I guess

proximity based sound has been confirmed
that being said - (and this is pure supposition without evidence) you may have to group to voice chat - for ratings reasons
