This is for those of you who need a little help in finding things to do in Home when your bored...
Be a Greeter - Put a smile on someone's face as they step into the area... Plus it gives you a chance to give people info they may not know...

Be a filler for someone wanting for an opponent....

Role Playing - Take advantage of some of the props around Home..

Make note of some of the different costume experiments on Home,,, Some of them will give you new ideas to make your own version...

Strike up a conversation with complete strangers...

Of course this is just a short list of some of the things you can do... There should be no reason anyone should be bored on Home as long as they put their mind and personality to good use...

Those are all great ideas, and very commendable.
However, if you are a guy avatar and initiate conversations such as these, prepare for the possibility to be called perv (or other such slurs) or for folks to simply run away at times, no matter what the sex of the avatar to which you speak.
Don't let that stop you, just be warned.

One of my favorite role-plays is to act like I don't realize I'm in Home. This dialog took place in the Central Plaza a few months ago.
Guy: Where are you from?
Me: Oh, I'm from here in Winnipeg. Just across the river, in fact. But I've never been in this part of town before.
Guy: Huh?
Me: I was supposed to meet my date here, but I wonder if he realized what kind of neighborhood it was. I've been approached by some really weird people. They keep dancing on me. I'm a little scared.
Guy: **bleep**?
Me: I see there's a movie theater over there. Is that safe? I could wait there and leave my cell on in case he calls.
Guy: How old are you?
(I picked Winnipeg because I was waiting for someone from there, who didn't show. So, in a way, the role-play was real.)

Good ideas. When none of my friends are in HOME and I get bored, I strike up a conversation with somebody that is new in HOME and is wearing default clothes and has default blue text. If they don't curse at me or insult me, I offer to take them on a "Free Stuff" tour of HOME. I have all 43 houses in HOME, so I add them to my friends list and invite them to spaces that give free items. Deadquarters space = free zombie suit, Guitar Hero VIP room = free shirt and free guitar, Loot store in the mall = free silver android suit and 3 free Resident Evil shirts, etc..... There is so much free stuff in HOME that it could take over one hour to show some of it to a new person in HOME. I have met many cool people while giving them a "Free Stuff" tour of HOME.

Perfect example of Home's good side. Way to Go Bronx.

These ideas seem a bit lame to me. Being a greeter wouldn't make me less bored. This isn't Wal-Mart.
S'actually rather fun to welcome people and see their reactions.
One of the best lines to use is "Welcome to CP. I love you."
(Kudos if you get the reference )

I have some Ideas:
1: Go online to see what things are winnable on Home that you haven't won already
2. Try to make it to the high score list of all your favorite games
3. Try to host a party at your house with friends and strangers
4. Try to start a clothing fad on Home
5. Encourage others to dance like you are (the choo-choo train)
6. Go play all the games on Home (the possibilities are endless)
7. Start a Game Launch with other players
8. Take advantage of certain stuff while it lasts
9. Give others tips/advice on stuff about Home they may not know
10. Help newbies on Home become better acquainted with Home
11. Perform the minor glitches on Home
12. Get to know your friends better
These are all the things I do on home

Why would I get the reference?
I just don't see the fun in "greeting" people.
