With Penthouse releasing just a week and a bit away, we wanted to host an event to celebrate this release for our Millionaire’s Club!

Next Thursday, October 18th in the main Casino Concourse we’re inviting our million dollar earners to come out for the chance to get the all new Penthouse Suite a week earlier than full release.

You’ve had the tours courtesy of last season’s top winner ‘superlatives’ and now you too can have a chance to start hosting your friends in your private space before all of the other winners get theirs.

But wait there’s more! We’re also going to be giving away EOD TV Bundles courtesy of our friends at LOOT! The Penthouse is the ultimate private retreat and the comments on the forums keep mentioning how huge and roomy it is. So we thought, a 240” EOD TV would fit right in! More details to follow in the coming days!

Nice:smileyhappy:

I'll be marking this on my calander.

Just a quick question for DL.  I noticed in your post it says you will invite million dollar earners " for the chance to get the all new Penthouse Suite a week earlier than full release."  Does that mean not all the million dollar earners will get it on Thursday?  I would like to attend this but I may have to work.  Could you clarify that statement for me so I can make a decision to play hookey or not lol.  Thanks 8)

Jason:

I think what Digital Leisure meant was that from the attendees who ALREADY have 1 million, they'll choose AT RANDOM a number of those who WILL get early access. IOW not everyone will get early access.

@ Superlatives - That's the impression that I got as well but I just wanted to double check 8)

Permanantly, or just untill it's been earned?

Assuming that a Home user who hacked the Penthouse actually escapes the wrath of Sony -- I don't think Digital Leisure will be as forgiving. Two months ago DL blew its top when a jacket winner from Season 1 tried to BARTER the voucher code. I don't think they'll look at someone who STOLE the Penthouse in a more charitable way!

I bet Boomer does or is very close to it. I'm starting to get jealous seeing all this neat stuff. I haven't been a Casino player for the most part. I find it a bit too time consuming but it's certainly tempting after seeing all of this content.

I'll just need to visit all you millionaires to see how the "in crowd" lives. :smileyhappy:

I am very bored this morning so I read through this thread. Now admittedly I am very hard to please and I guess I'm the party pooper of this thread, but I'm not even remotely impressed with this...

From what I see, for the painstaking task of 1 million chips (not the price, but the time and effort put into it), we get...a really huge, really flashy apt.

No club, no exclusive special clothes, and the apt dosen't even have interactive furniture, games or other features.

Yes I saw the part about how it's "easier to get 1 million then you think" but I've been playing at the casino since day one, and though I'm not a hardcore player by any means and just did it for certain rewards, I'm only at half the requirement.

But even if I were to meet the requirement, I'd actually prefer to NOT be rewarded this apt, as it would just take up another slot on my un-organizable list of apts I never visit (outside of Granzella ones)

So why exactly is everyone so ecstatic over this? I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't understand it. Does it have interactive features I somehow missed the mention of? Do you in fact get some nice, uber rare clothes to go with it?

Or is it just another really huge apt that, judging by one of superlatives comments, is not suited for the 100 item limit?

If you were given the option of a club instead of an apartment, it might be worth it in my opinion, but as it stands now, I will be passing. (and in fact, trying to actively AVOID getting it)

Re: The Penthouse Tour: Presented by superlatives

It was my understanding that the apartment included a slot machine and a video poker machine. I for one am looking forward to this space, and when it was first announced I was probably about 50,000 short of my million. Since that time, I believe I'm right around 1.65 million. I'm not very hardcore either, but I go in spurts. Sometimes I get the itch to play at the casino for hours and sometimes I stay away for days. Why not take the tour of the space and see for yourself what you think?

I personally have been impressed by Digital Leisure and believe them to be one of the few companies that really communicate with the community and continue to offer us nice features and rewards.

I myself have a fair share of spaces that I will probably never visit again, but I look forward to this one and believe it will be one of my mainstay spaces in the very near future.

I've visited the space afew times, and I love the layout of the space. Very few apartments offer us a kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms etc, which this does. It has enough baked in furniture like the kitchen, toilets and a bed that allows us to use our 100 slots on being able to personalize our apartments without using them up on essentials, although where the space is so big it'll still be difficult to fill the space until the 100 slot limit is raised, which I'm sure it will, sometime in the future. I want to put one of the Loot TVs in the big recess, so that will make it a little harder for me knowing how many slots they take up.

As far as I'm aware, super rare clothes dont come with it, but on the road to getting there there are a number of rewards to collect, and dont forget the Leaderboard jackets that are given out at the end of a season which are super rare. The Global Winner, and each of the Leaderboard winners get a jacket completely unique to them, a true one of a kind that doesn't get much rarer than that. And then with a total of about 72 of the other Leaderboard jackets issued, these are again extremely limited.

Getting back to the PH, knowing DigitalLeisure, I wouldn't be suprized if sometime they do update one or more of the items to be interactive. They've updated the little complimentary room a few times, so I think its a good chance they'll do the same with the PH.

I'm really looking forward to recieving mine, and your welcome to visit it once I get it to have another look around mine if you wish. Your half way to getting it, and maybe with a fresh look at it you may change your mind. :smileyhappy:
