Indeed, ‘twas a great interview. I personally want to thank you for being so forthcoming with insight into your life and history. I have no doubt that some of the topics you touched on are sore spots, but hopefully your candor and honesty will be rewarded with a greater understanding and tolerance. I, for one, applaud you and wholeheartedly appreciated reading what you had to say.

And congrats on 21 years to you and your partner. That’s one heck of a stretch!

awwwwwwwwww - you gonna make me cry Johneboy - thanks - that is MOST appreciated.

I am sure that many people have had a "rocky road" to travel during their life - what stinks is when someone pitches those rocks at ya while you are traveling - lol.  Its good to learn to duck n run    at times.

Just remember - most sore spots will heal given enough time.  There may be a time or two when it itches - but mostly - as in any person's life - it is a learning experience.

I hope that the "younger" generation can be more understanding and tolerant - not only for the GLBT community - but the world itself.  Would be awesome if they can start here in Home.  *one must have a dream, right?*

Very true JP. Umm when and where did you get all knowing though? Did yoda visit you?

We have laughed together and shed tears together and those two things have meant more to me than a great many things. I know you have had a tough time but the interview just really made me see how much. You are a shining example and beyond awesome, stubborn as hell and I wouldn't love ya any other way. my friend.

I'll have you know I am the sweetest - kindest - most caring................and if anyone has the nerve to say different - I will stick my feet against the rocks - draw a line in the sand - grit my teeth - take a stand and.......................wait.................never mind.

I think it maybe some sort of anti-spamming thing, a safeguard so people don't sit there and enter random digits in hopes to claim something. I'll check and see if I can claim anything tomorrow, if not, I may have to call Sony

Re: The Official HomeStation Magazine (HSM) Thread

Aloha, HSM readers!

We hope you've been enjoying the variety of stories Issue #7 has to offer! As a note, we've seen there have been a few questions about the code matrix that was put together for that issue, in order to make it a bit more challenging. Keep in mind that if you look closely at the letter combinations, you'll notice the names of various HSM team members. This should make it considerably easier for you to uncover the actual codes. The crossword challenge has gotten the most positive feedback so far, so you might see more of that format used in the future.

(Also, the Silicon Lounge is about to be made available for purchase throughout Home, so if you don't want to try your luck with the codes hidden in the magazine, you'll still be able to get it via the Mall.)

Issue #7 is notable because although HomeStation prides itself on covering Home from a social aspect rather than a gaming aspect -- and thus we tackle Home's social issues with regularity -- we'd never actually run a social issue as a cover story. Until now.

Today saw three new stories published to the HSM website!

1. Lockwood announcing their new content releases for the week, including a cool selection of paintball gear;

2. A few personal reflections on the recent announcements of Home's impending changes and expansion;

3. AND, most exciting of all, an interview with Home Community Manager Locust_Star (written by HSM's Podcast Editor, Jersquall), regarding the development of Ooblag's Alien Casino!

We'd like to thank Home Community Management for consenting to be interviewed by HSM, and we hope that it adds to your enjoyment of this wonderful social gaming space that shouldn't be overlooked. Have you enjoyed success at Ooblag's recently?
