The ONLY problem I forsee in HOME

12 replies 2 views Edited May 9, 2007
How are they going to break up the mass ammounts of people once this is released?

Are they going to have different Servers like, "U.S. West, U.S. East, U.S. Central ?"

Or is everyone going to be in one huge server, because I think that would be too much and too little games for the mass ammounts of people.

Thoughts?

according to phil, the servers will only hold a certain amount of people and more will be added automaticaly as they fill up, but they also have some kind of software implemented that makes sure you can get on the same server as people you know

They should have publicly released HOME :smileytongue:
the bugs would be found faster and everyone would be happy that they are able to get on

Q: How will the lobbies be regionalised? Would it be possible to have
bespoke, selectable backgrounds for each regional lobby, e.g. Paris /
London / Rome etc?

A:  It is highly likely that the European, US and Japanese lobbies will be
localised, but it is undecided as to whether individual lobbies within Europe
will be.

Runescape has like over 100 or so worlds and each world is controlled by a server. same should be as Home. Not that I play runescape or anything.
