AlabamaWorley87 over in a different Penthouse tips thread talked about the praises of Video Poker, which they somehow managed to get to a bank of 2 million by playing it without ever actually paying for chips. It sounds like it'd take a long time but once you get a grasp of Jacks or Better strategy then it's probably just a slow mountain climb to the top.
Personally, I can't stand max bet VIP single deck blackjack. It's so damned bipolar that I don't know whether or not I'm going to actually get anywhere with it. First time I ever gave it a whirl, managed to get to 197k winnings off a single $20 card. The second time had me bust out 40k chips in an hour and a half, amounting to a mere 10k increase after the dealer somehow got multiple series' of 20/21's. It's ridiculous, I'd rather chip away at a mountain than throw another $20 PSN card at the table and hope the dealer doesn't activate God Mode.
As soon as you notice the dealer start to blatantly cheat, you should immediately drop down to minimum bets, and if it continues for too long, quit while you're ahead. Choose a good amount of chips, whatever is to your personal liking, and never keep playing with high bets once you fall down to that number. Once you slowly build your way up again, you can bet higher freely, and if you manage to increase your total chips significantly, it's a good idea to increase the minimum you'll allow yourself to reach. This way you ensure you'll never have to buy moar chips (or any in the first place) from Digital Leisure.
