Re: Slap Happy

Feb 2, 2013

Slap Happy is a game where players slap each other on stage for fun. I don't know if prizes are still available, but they once were. The game reminds me of The Three Stooges. Come by and watch us. We usually play for an hour or more each Friday at midnight (EST).

I usually try to dress silly.

If you would like to play, you will have to purchase a phonograph from the Games Store (I think). It's from The Odd Gentlemen. But before you make a decision, come by and watch.

And, Zombie. I will be there.

It was a great game tonight/this morning. We even had another group of people show up and play on another stage. Maybe next week we can mix and match?

And maybe next wee we can have a theme celebrating 20 years of service to any branch of the military and finally retirement? Hopefully some folks in the community will be interested.

Yes, I am retiring and will start my terminal leave next Friday. Please be there. Aloha!

Seems like something a teenage girl might do. Isn't hand to hand combat generally taught in the military?:smileyvery-happy: Oh I kid. Aloha was Norse's line however. I hope he (or his mama Keara) doesn't take offense.

We play the game for fun and we chat as we play.

"Aloha" is a common word of greeting in Hawaii where I've made many visits. Also, my use of it is based on Jack Lord's closing from the original Hawaii Five-O television series after the next episode's preview had been shown: "Be here. Aloha!"

I believe some goofy clothing or costume items. I'm not sure as it has been a long time since I won anything from the game. And like I said, I'm not even sure if it still awards prizes (as I may have all if not most of them).

But we aren't playing the game for prizes. We're just playing it to meet up for one hour each week and have a few laughs.

Darn. I have to dress up?

I'll be there to give you (and the others) a "love tap".

If anyone else wants to join us, please do. Everyone is welcomed to play.
