Open Beta refers to the ability of users to discribe their experiences to others without worry of NDA's.
Closed Beta refers to Beta's with Non Disclosure Agreements in place
Open does not refer to the number of applicants allowed in.

NICE TRY.

A closed beta test is for a certain criteria of testers, or select groups. In this case which could pertain to GAP members & past beta testers who were active in past tests. Yes they do agree to a non disclosure contract.
An open beta test is mainly more of a public first come first serve basis & also has a disclosure agreement.

The Closed Beta will be 15k of a preselected group, I can almost guarantee this.
The Open Beta will be more accessible to people who want to pop their beta testing cherry. 50k

This is how Sony has done all their tests in the past, I doubt they will change for this.

It's called an open beta because a large amount of people are allowed to play. They are basically doing the open beta to stress test their servers.

If the open beta can host an unlimited capacity of testers, why wouldn't Home just be released in August? A beta of that population would completely defeat the purpose

Do you even think before you post???

The open beta is for 50k (noyt unlimited) , As you have (spammed) posted in about 40 threads over the past 2 weeks.

The closed beta is going to be for a select group of gamers & the open one will be more for newbie testers.

What the hell? Can you even read?

I'm not saying the open beta is unlimited, I know it's 50,000, are you blind?
I'm against an open beta of too high a population.
Are you seeing imaginary posts? I have never said the beta can host an unlimited amount of testers. Or are you just an idiot?
