Problems in Great Edo of Nippon

54 replies 342 views Edited Feb 17, 2013

When the SETSUBUN 2013 Ogre Extermination! event starts.

Some dolls rewards never download even you did knock them

off in the Shooting Gallery mini-game.

After 1.75 system update, worst problem to me

"Beans to drive away Ogres" I purchased for  "the SETSUBUN 2013 Ogre Extermination",

Now, I am not longer able to use the beams in game.

Did you put the beans in your Edo Row Houses?

Are you saying that you have to put the beans in the Row houses?

It's a possibility.

I have mine there and they come up fine.
Never really use them, though.

Well, I did, but it still works before the stupid 1.75 system update.

And I remove it from the long house personal space, but it doesn't

helps anyway.

@LeeStone71

I have a question for you, I have played this game with the swords and armor and I never seem to get far in the game.  So, from I have been gathering, in order to get far in the game it would be necessary to get the row houses to help recover, is this correct?

It's hard to win without healing unless you really get good at the game. The unlimited healing certainly makes it much easier to kill all the enemies and finish the level and maximize points at the same time.

Without bonuses you can get from 530 to 570 points per play through with the current event.

The Houses really do help. I have to heal at least twice during any game. Usually due to getting cornered by two blues early in or a red not charging til I get too close.

Oh, and my setup is the ninja clothes and sword. I also got the black face mask as it layers on. It's not really necessary, though since it only adds like 1 point to defense. But it's not too conspicuous, so I wear it anyway.

I tried using the rod but my ninja is trained to jump and run, both of which are near impossible to do with the rod.

All my fighting has been done using a sword, and I don't have any armor apart from some regular Granzella clothes that I wear to help a little.

I don't own the Edo Houses but do have the once per play healing medicine and strength potions. That's normally enough to complete the game but I do get caught sometimes.

My normal tactic is hit and run, and be very careful with the red monsters. Not the most efficient way, but it works for me. I've been having fun and not spent anything on the event yet, although I did plan in buying the sword until it was pulled, but I'll buy it when it's re-released.
