Re: Positive people need to be more vocal!

Jan 26, 2013
Greets danger dad (I've always loved that name lol) we learned yesterday that it was tech issues as to why it was pushed back. Also, my saves took up at least 4-5 gigs if not more. I used to own every personal space and tons of purchased items and rewards. I also had 6 accounts for other family members on my ps3, all of which used Home.

When I spoke up on here, I was called a hypocrite for it.

Yeah, never again.

The floor is all on you guys now.

Thank you.

I was waiting for things to die down a little. At the moment, things seem calm.

Your purchased items and rewards have always been stored on the server.

Given a more-than-generous average size of 75 kB for apartment layouts and save files, 5 GB would represent almost 70,000 files. Methinks even you did not have that many personal spaces.  Perhaps close though. :smileytongue:

I'll give you 100 apartment layouts plus settings files for each of those 6 accounts and the total memory is probably still under 50 MB.  That would be 0.02% of a 250 GB HD.

As I recall it you were not called a hypocrite for speaking up, that's how you want to see it and that's your prerogative, but you are making a statement that is untrue.  Maybe you need to go back an re-read that again.  Welcome back to the forums Blur and to stay on topic, positivity is always a welcome treat.  Be more vocal on the things you like and don't focus on the negative.

Mz Lisa, I had reserved the 12gb of space. I wish I could show you how much a difference it made when I stopped doing that. Also on chelada I had over 100 saves myself. If I'm correct I was up to 112. On my other accounts I had all the free spaces and my children also had all the free NA spaces and had purchased their own stuff. Also this was on a 120gb. When I got plus, the games and Home used all my spaces. Of course compared to all my games Home didn't use much by itost definitely made a big difference when I was below 8 gb of space left on my HDD and deleted the saves.

I know that you had a bunch of spaces. That's why I accounted for 600 apartment layout files in my estimate. If you're including the cache then obviously we're talking about a lot more memory used but the cache stores public spaces for quicker load times.

The point is that game save files and apartment layouts use negligible hard drive space. 250 vs 120 GB makes little difference.
