man i feel ya, il tell u this... if ur frome PR or any other eehhh area out of USA, tht apartment is useless to ya, i know cuss, i buyed hollywood hills as soon it was for sale.... it worked for a month... sudenly i cant watch nothing... me or any brazilian or latin.... can watch any TVs, of any apartments whit TVs, heck now its worst... no1 can see anithing on those TV if im present... i have to leave any apartment so tht they can watch anything... sad HUH

You use to be able to activate and De-activate you PS3 from the computer.

 

There was a link posted some time ago.. Try a search on activation of the ps3.

You still can.  I know I used it to deactivate my old 60GB PS3 which died to ylod. Don't know how this would solve his or her problem. 

 

(1) Log into http://www.qriocity.com/au/en/ with your PSN log in details
(2) Account
(3) Media and Devices
(4) Click the game option, and then Deactivate All.

Those deactivations only get rid of "game" content, right?  I think you have to actually call them for video.

You can de-activate video without having the system in question. I called the Sony customer service line and told the tech the issue. He asked for PSN id e-mail and a few security questions then took care of de-activating the video. Took about 5 mins on the phone.
