You've probably got your PS3 set to update the date and time automatically via the Internet.

I recommend using Set Time Manually. You'll have to change it twice a year, but you wont hve to go looking for the Daylight Savings Time setting.

It's automatic in the sense that your PS3 sets its clock to the PSN servers that one time you tell it to. It's not very intuitive. "Synchronize time with online server" would be a better descriptor.

I guess Sony left the Daylight Savings Time option manual in case governments decide to mess around with their Daylight Savings Rules again.

yeah, DST/ST are probably manual, since states like arizona and hawaii dont observe it there are others i know, but those are the only two i remember lol

Re: PS3 Clock DST Question

Hey Crazy,

I believe you got your answer in this thread.  As much as I love silly threads, and Kat eluding to shots, I'm gonna go ahead and lock this up.

Re: PS3 Clock DST Question

Just turn Daylight Savings off and it will turn back your clock by one hour. You don't have to mess with setting the time manually.
