Re: PS Home... A window to the soul of society?

Oct 23, 2012

The more exotic and weird an outfit is, the better.. My perspective.

To have a  visual issue with a fantasy items appearance, showing nothing, on a game console social platform.

Any 14 year old kid knows how to search in Google, yahoo, etc... For far more.

it should be the price of the items within Home.. That is a real issue .

D-Nitrate makes some good points on subject. What is the norm now days? What is it for virtual communities? Home was never going to be second life. it was geared more recently toward video gamers. Not that sexy video game fem fatales were a guideline but it fits the mold. I would say that we got what we asked for. I also know that Sony has guidelines that they go by. Remember the Dead Island: Home Exploding Zombie Suit? Originally it had way more blood and guts when it exploded but Sony had it reduced to what it is now.

Just look what happened when the nude glitch was discovered with the spider bikini.

Yeah..."glitch" :smileyvery-happy: how many people discovered it and who made the bikini. Also why did it have nipples?

Do you have answers?  I suspect as many did, that like a lot of software, some programers try and often succeed in adding their own personal touches.  That said, there is a new nude glitch, and if you saw it, you'd also know the way they solved this issue from happening again is they made the "private areas" invisble, so you see right through those spots on their avatar.

The point remains the same though, and that all this fuss and effort to prevent anyone from seeing a naked body in Home, yet killing an avatar is encouraged.  As a society we are truly twisted.

Sony's PlayStation Home updated mission statement...

"Like it never happened"

- Stand for something better than mediocrity and don't disguise it as adequate, when clearly it is far from that to anyone willing to be objective and unbiased. -

There is that "glitch" where users repeatedly pull up the Navigator.  :smileyvery-happy:

With all the bugs and glitches Sony has been fixing to keep their image and their product name, this lewd one still exists.
