Re: Lockwoods LMO Lion pics

Ah thanks for clarifying. I've only bought a few locos and this was my first mounting loco.

Re: Lockwoods LMO Lion pics

I'm perhaps a teensy bit biased. When I saw a preview video for the original "big cat" mounts, I said... I don't care if they look a little awkward. I WANT that.

When they came out as a preview in x7 I bought one. I really loved it  I rode around the Halloween adventure district searching for cocktail ingredients... in style! RROW!

I always knew they would come out with a better version of the mounts... but I loved what I had anyway. The big cats were fast.

So, the lion is this "better version" I anticipated, and again, I bought it in the x7 preview. It is BEAUTIFUL.The "walk" action is wonderful... it looks very natural. The "run" action, activated by pressing the square button on the console, seemed to be a little uppity on my first day. It didn't always kick in right away, or at all. But the lion was nevertheless pretty fun to use to roam around the new Heavy Water public district (sorry for mentioning another Home dev in a generally positive DIFFERENT dev comment, since this may make you Lockwood devs grumpy... but hey, it's the truth).

I realize now that I've actually purchased pretty much ALL the companion items related to big cats... and, actually, to little cats too. I'm true to my avatar name!
But, overall, the Lockwood Lion rules them all. Well done.

;^) I like how the foot movement seems to go in the second picture. Much more convincing than the Beast Mounts available earlier. A video clip would be great....

I am - The only thing I don't like is that the fur looks unrealistic, more like its chiseled out of stone then real flowing fur, but that's me being real picky,  and its not like the tigers look so real either at a dollar more. So yeah  I would buy it if your thinking about it, it also adds to your collection of riding companions and you weant to switch things up.
