I don't know if thats true or not thats a question for GlassWall. But if I understand this right it will not do anything to people that use ISE. Any items they have got so far from ISE will just be uploaded to the Sony servers when the update comes. After the update you can still use ISE but would have to make a new PSN account and it would only work once.
To use those exploits they need you to upload your script files to them and from there they do the work and charge whatever they ask for.
If your settings files with all that data is housed on Sony's servers from here out...you wont have anything to be able to save and upload for the hackers to change and manipulate and then load unto your PS3

Actually this isn't a bad guess. This could be an attempt to future proof Home so that everyone's content and settings are waiting for them when people upgrade to the next generation console (Note: this scenario requires you to suspend whatever disbelief you may have about Home coming along to the next console).

Well one thing i can say is this... If they want to FREE up space on our HDD? This will most likely happen here. But why not take this to the next step and save us even more HDD space? Like...
Our Game Data for our Games we play is saved on our HDD's and most of those games take up allot of HDD space... If Sony really wants us to save on HDD space... They move all our Game Data to Online servers also... Saving us all tons of HDD space...

Not that this is any of my business. Just makes me wonder how much I have to watch what I say. Sometimes I can be witless even when my typing is messed.
(I don't read the EU blogs except to glance at them. Maybe one of these days I'll read a complete post o'er yonder. And maybe I'll even read one of mine completely... it might improve my typing. )
It bothers me that I can't back up my Home files. I've lost things on other servers in the past and I try to back things up for what I consider important.
